Description
Industrial Mitreh for Chiller and absorption (MSA1069)
A chiller is a device for causing a cold based on the condensation or absorption of a liquid. Liquid, which is usually water, can be used to cool the air or devices, which usually flows cyclically inside a heat exchanger.
Chillers are divided into two categories; condensation and absorption chillers. Condensation chillers, using electrical energy and absorption chillers, generate heat and cold by using thermal energy.
The water circulating in the chiller system plays a major role in heat transfer, and therefore, it is necessary to control the rate of sedimentation, corrosion and biological contamination. The hard water forms calcium carbonate shell, which causes many problems. This shell, in the form of deposition on the inner surfaces of the water-bearing pipes, reduces the water transfer capacity and reduces the heat transfer.
The industrial Mitreh which is special for chillers and absorptions , prevents the particles from depositing on the walls and keeps them suspended in solution by controlling and limiting carbonates and calcium and magnesium sulfates,. This solution also prevents them from being eaten by forming a protective layer on the walls and increases the useful life of the plant.
Usage:
In order to prevent sedimentation and corrosion, inject MSA1069 solution at a dose of one-tenth per cent continuously (according to the amount of water consumed – MICAP).
if the intake water is not fed from resin dampening and R.O system, increase the dose according to calibration table below.
Calibration table to prevent sediment and corrosion MSA1069 | ||
No. | Hardness of water ( ppm) | Amount of usage |
1 | 100-300 | 2 liters per thousand liters of inlet water |
2 | 300-600 | 3 liters per thousand liters of inlet water |
3 | 600-900 | 4 liters per thousand liters of inlet water |
4 | +900 | Chemical analysis and coordination with the company’s technical offices |
