Description
(Mitreh 0138, Mitreh 0132, Mitreh APA56, Mitreh APA70)
In multi-stage desalination systems, with steam boiling and cooling; high purity water is obtained. The water with high level of solutes remain at each step causes the deposition of solute and scale formation on the pipes and the wall of the tanks. The result is a lack of proper heat transfer due to the layers of scale that act as thermal insulation and finally increase energy consumption. To prevent of scale formation in such systems optimizes energy consumption and extends installation useful life.
The main anti-scaling solutions of desalination systems are based on phosphonate or phosphate compounds. Mitreh 0138 (for seawater) and Mitreh 0132 (for saline water) solutions with specific phosphonate compounds, greatly prevent the formation of scale in these systems. The use of polymeric compounds is also very effective in preventing the formation of scale in desalination systems and perform better at lower dosage. The Mitreh APA70 s (for seawater) and Mitreh APA56 (for saline waters) solutions contain polymers that prevent from the formation of scales in the system by forming complexes with scale compounds.
Calibration of Using Antifouling Solutions for Multi-stage Desalination Systems:
In order to prevent from the formation of scale in these systems, the dosage of the solution is different according to the analysis of the feed water.
The appropriate dosage shall be obtained from the relevant technical experts and facility engineers, and in the event of any uncertainty or need for advice, expert advice shall be given by the experts of technical office of the Abrizan Company.
