Water used by ships and most vessels includes freshwater, sea water and boiler water. All cooling systems in the ship are cooled down by a freshwater system called Low Temperature (LT). Water LT is used to cool generators, compressors, cold stores, cooled ship oils, diesel engines, etc.

Along with this system there is a high temperature (HT) water system that is specific to the main engine. The HT system is the main water engine shuttle cycle, which, after cooling the engine body and passing through Engine Air Cooler, enters the HT cooler and cools with LT water.

The Sea Water system has an open system on ships and other vessels, which is used to cool LT water depending on the type of float in the Heat Exchanger.

The water used for boilers is necessarily distilled water and the system is closed. The water system has two parts; the water inlet to the boiler and the boiler water drum.

Due to the importance of these systems, and also sedimentation in waterways and reduction of heat exchange ,descaling is very important. Sard Mitreh for Ships, which one used for  refrigeration system (MKD0110) is formulated for the LT system deposition and industrial Mitreh for Ship specially designed to use in thermal systems (MKD1120) descaling HT system and  boiler related installations. Sedimentation and regeneration of the system with l Sard Mitreh for ship will increase productivity, reduce depreciation and reduce energy consumption.

The corrosion rate of cold 10-20 mpy is very low compared to the existing types of scrubbers that corrode between 70-980 mpy, which also makes it easy to get along with the water in the supercharged facilities and all parts of the facilities freely and without the ship stopped at the Docked.

Usage:

• First, the amount of sediment in the system must be calculated. Therefore, if you are not sure about the estimated amount of sediment, it is suggested that you take guidance from the technical expert of Abrizan Office.
• For each kilogram of estimated scale and sedimentation for HT systems and boiler installations, two liters of Sard Mitreh for Ship (MKD1120) should be used. And for the LT system three liters of Sard Mitreh for Ship (MKD0110) needed.  Inject it to system without stopping the system. According to Operating conditions for HT systems and boiler installations after 3 to 6 hours, and for the LT system after 4 to 8 hours, remove heavy water and rinse the system several times with the pump pressure (preferably water jet), until the rest of the softened sediments from the circuit Get out For the quality of deposition and regeneration systems, it is suggested that the sedimentation and washing operation be carried out in two steps.
• After the scale and sedimentation of the system washed, the system will be dewatered and use the Industrial Miterh Solutions (MKS1061) and (MKS1144) and (MKS1148) to prevent sedimentation and corrosion (with instructions for the use of technical offices).
