Calcium and magnesium carbonate and sulfate, calcium and magnesium silicate and calcium phosphate are the most common scales created in cooling towers. Scale accumulation reduces the cross-sectional of flow and reduces heat transfer on the surfaces. The end result is a reduction in cooling efficiency and a reduction in the useful life of the tower.<\/p>\n

The combination of several organic and mineral acids is effective in removing all types of scale created on the surface of the towers. Mitreh 0108 solution contains several different acids to maximize scale removing and, unlike other scale removers, has a special blend of anti-corrosion material to reduce corrosion rates of acids and oxidizing agents. This is why Mitreh 0108 solution can be injected directly into the operating system and, after several hours, the scales will be discharged with water.<\/p>\n

Calibration of Using Mitreh 0108 Solution<\/strong>:<\/h5>\n

In order to scale removing in open circuit cooling tower systems with Mitreh 0108 solution, approximately 2 liter of this solution is required per kilogram of Scale in the system.<\/p>\n

System water analysis and scale formed at the\u00a0installation, estimation of approximate amount of scale available at the installation, the volume of make-up water during the day, and the kind of alloys in the various parts of the system are required prior the scale removing operation.<\/p>\n
