Calcium and magnesium carbonate and sulfate, calcium and magnesium silicates and corrosion products are the most common scales created in the exchangers. Scale accumulation reduces the cross-sectional area of the flow and reduces heat transfer on the surfaces and puts pressure on the pumps. The end result is a reduction in the efficiency of heat transfer and a reduction in the useful life of the exchanger and other equipment.

The mixture of several organic and minerals acids is effective to remove all types of scales created on the surface of the exchanger. Mitreh 0103 solution contains several different acids to maximize scale removing. It has a special blend of anti- corrosion materials to reduce corrosion rates of acids and oxidizing agents unlike other scale remover. That’s why Mitreh 0103 solution can be injected directly into the working system and, after several hours of operation, the system is discharged of the suspended deposit. It should be noted that this solution does not cause any harmful effects on the skin, respiratory and environment.

Calibration of Using Mitreh 0103 Solution:

In order to scale removing of exchanger with Mitreh 0103 solution, it is required about 2 liters of this solution per kg of scale in the system.

System water analysis and scale formed at the installation, estimation of approximate amount of scale available at the installation, the volume of make-up water during the day, and the kind of alloys in the various parts of the system are required prior the scale removing operation. Better advice shall be obtained from relevant experts at the Abrizan Company.

In the case of severe corrosion in the system and thinning of the body of the installation, carry out the deposition more carefully and consult the relevant experts.
