Description
Anti-scale & Anti-corrosion Solutions for Low, Medium & High Pressure Boilers
A boiler is basically a closed-pressure tank, in which water heated for phase change and energy absorption and use outside the tank. Practically, this heat is generated by combustion of fossil fuels, nuclear energy or electricity. These boilers are classified according to water vapor pressure as follows: 1- Low pressure boilers2- Medium pressure boilers3- High pressure boilers
High pressure boilers are built to produce water vapor at pressures above 25 bar. Below the pressure mentioned above, the boiler falls into the category of low pressure boilers.
There are two main flows in boilers that we can optimize the boilers with controlling these flows. These two flows include fuel and water. Because the boiler inlet water is hard water, temporary hardness of the water precipitates in the form of carbonates and sulfates of cations such as calcium and magnesium. Over time, these scales act as insulators and prevent heat transfer. As a result, energy consumption increases, and if acid wash, chemical or physical methods are not used to eliminate these scales, it will increase corrosion and degradation of the system. Therefore, it is necessary to use a suitable additive to prevent sedimentation and prevent corrosion that will increase efficiency, reduce energy consumption and reduce boiler depreciation. The average useful life of a steam boiler is at least forty years. It is clear how effective service and maintenance are to the efficiency and performance of the system.
Usage:
According to the analysis and hardness of the inlet water, inject the required amount of solution (MSA1148) or (MSA1149) into the system by dosing pumps or alternately (obviously excessive use of the above material doesn’t cause technical problems).
After determining the amount of calcium and magnesium carbonate and sulfate due to the hardness of the water in the system as well as the physical and chemical properties of the water, the dosage of this solution is announced by the technical experts to prevent scale formation and corrosion.
Contact technical office experts for more information and information about dosage and chemical analysis of system water.
