Antiscalant quality level test

Test to determine the ability of scale inhibitors to prevent scale formation (antiscalants)
The antiscalant quality level test or the test to determine the degree of inhibition of antiscalant in dispersing sedimentable compounds has been designed quantitatively and qualitatively based on international NACE and ASTM standards. This test shows the percentage of inhibition of sedimentation of sedimentary salts in the presence of the inhibitor.
The antiscalant quality level test is used to evaluate scale inhibitors.
In general, this method determines the degree of effectiveness of a specific inhibitor in preventing the formation of calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate deposits in the solution by measuring the effectiveness of scale inhibitors under specific laboratory conditions.

The purpose of this test:
- To investigate the effectiveness of the scale inhibitor (anti-scalant)
- To compare the effectiveness of different scale inhibitor (anti-scalant) samples with each other quantitatively and qualitatively
- To determine the optimal dose of the scale inhibitor (anti-scalant) in the system
- To investigate the effect of the scale inhibitor (anti-scalant) in preventing the formation of calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate deposits qualitatively
- To determine the percentage of inhibition of the scale inhibitor (anti-scalant) in preventing the formation of calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate deposits quantitatively
Abrizan Industrial Research Company (Daneshbonyan) has provided the conditions for testing the quality level of anti-scalant according to international standards by employing expert personnel and advanced devices in its dedicated laboratory.
This company's laboratory is one of the few laboratories in Iran capable of performing complete quantitative and qualitative analysis of scale inhibitors (anti-scalants).
