Introduction of Abrizan laboratory

Abrizan Industrial Research Company, with more than two decades of activity in the field of monitoring industrial water, wastewater, steam and gas condensates and solids, and having several laboratories in different parts of the country, is ready to serve all industries, including oil and gas and petrochemical industries, steel, power plants, food industries, polymer and plastic, agriculture, etc., with its highly advanced devices, Abrizan's central laboratory is capable of performing various tests on water, wastewater, lithium bromide, complete analysis of solids, separation and identification of organic and inorganic materials, analysis and calculations of corrosion rates, and services related to academic research and research institutes throughout the country. Abrizan, by being a member of the laboratory network of strategic services, has made it easier to provide services to all applicants. It also cooperates extensively with the Iranian Petrochemical Research and Technology Company, the General Directorate of Standards, the Environmental Protection Organization, the Power Research Institute, the Water and Wastewater Laboratory, the University Materials Department, the Iranian Corrosion Association, the International Water Engineering Association, and the Pharmaceutical Products Development Center of the University of Medical Sciences, etc.

Abrizan Central Laboratory includes the following departments:

1 – Abrizan General Laboratory

The general laboratory, with all the necessary facilities for a chemistry laboratory and the use of expert staff, as well as the ability to perform various general chemistry experiments (gravimetry, volumetric, etc.), is a suitable platform for conducting research experiments for other knowledge-based companies, professors and students. Most chemical parameters are identified and measured in this laboratory. The equipment in this section includes a pH meter, scales with an accuracy of one thousandth and one ten thousandth of a gram, a hood, a furnace, an oven, a jar test device, a water bath up to 100 degrees, an oil bath up to 300 degrees, a centrifuge, a shaker, a stirrer heater, a desiccator. In this section of the laboratory, a separate space has been provided for conducting bacteriological experiments and preparing culture solutions, sterilizing containers and culture media, etc., which includes incubators, laminar hoods, autoclaves, etc.

2- Abrizan device analysis laboratory

The specialized analysis laboratory is equipped with the most advanced and up-to-date chemical and physical analysis devices in the field of organic and mineral chemistry, geology, metallurgical and material engineering, water and sewage engineering, etc.

Some of the equipment of this device analysis laboratory are:

1. Atomic Absorption with lamps of more than 30 elements

2. Gas Chromatography (GC)

3. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

4. X-ray Diffraction (XRD)

5. X-ray Fluorescence (XRF)

6. Spectrophotometer (UV_VIS)

7. Potentiostat / Galvanostat (AUTOLAB)

8. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FT-IR)

9. Photometer film (Flame Photometer)

10. Spectrophotometer (HACH)

11. Ion Chromatography (IC)

3 – Abrizan Specialized Laboratory

Abrizan Company’s specialized laboratory is working to further advance the company’s goals, namely increasing customer satisfaction, improving product quality, and research and development by employing experts.

In this laboratory, the quality of products manufactured by Abrizan Company and chemical and industrial material manufacturers is controlled using NACE, ASTM, ASME, etc. standards.

Tests include jar test for controlling the quality of coagulants (ASTM D2035), antiscalant tests (NACE Standard TM0374), corrosion tests (impedance, TOFEL), etc., measurement of phosphate, nitrate, chloride, and other important factors for monitoring industrial water, antifoam tests, etc.
