Membrane detergent
Washing the membrane of the reverse osmosis water purifier
A physical process occurs in the membrane of the reverse osmosis (R.O.) water purifier. In this way, raw water after passing through the primary filters and performing pre-treatment, is driven by a pump into a chamber that has a semi-permeable membrane (membranes), and finally, almost pure water from one side of the membrane and concentrated water. It is removed from the impurity on the other side. Due to the passage of feed water on the surface of the membrane and its purification by the membrane, colloidal particles and microbial pollution, sediments and dissolved solutes in water cause clogging, which requires washing the reverse osmosis membrane at a certain time and periodically to This operation is called CIP (Cleaning in Place) for short.
Membrane washing solutions
The solutions used to wash the membranes are selected and used according to the type of membrane clogging, and these solutions include acidic and alkaline detergents and membrane detergents. In the following, membrane detergent solutions produced by Abrizan Industrial Research Company have been introduced:
Acidic and alkaline membrane detergent solutions based on mineral compounds
Acidic and alkaline membrane detergent solutions based on organic compounds
Special membrane detergent solutions for removing microbial contamination, biofilms and other organic substances
