In general, devices that convert water into steam are called boilers. Therefore, it is necessary to use materials to prevent the formation of deposits and prevent corrosion, which will lead to increased efficiency, reduced energy consumption and reduced boiler wear.

 

Control of deposits and corrosion in boilers

To control the rate of deposits and corrosion in the liquid phase of the boiler, polyphosphate-based materials should be used. Anti-scaling and anti-corrosion solutions for boilers have buffering properties and minimize pH fluctuations, which is done without using alkaline compounds (sodium and potassium hydroxide) in the composition of the main material. Also, this solution, by forming a corrosion-resistant film and neutralizing carbonate and sulfate compounds, shows high performance in controlling sedimentation and preventing corrosion.
