Water soluble anti-corrosion

Water soluble anti-corrosion

When there is a high percentage of water in the environment or the corrosive agent in the environment is in the fluid aqueous phase, the use of a water-soluble corrosion inhibitor is the best option. These water-soluble and oil-dispersible anti-corrosion products are used for use in oil pipelines, oil and gas wells and other production equipment in oil process systems, which are introduced in the following of these products.

Special anti-corrosion solutions for acidizing oil wells:

In the well acidizing process, acid is injected into the well to stimulate the oil and gas producing strata to dissolve part of the strata and create new paths for hydrocarbon production or to open passages that have been damaged and blocked. In general, the purpose of acidizing oil and gas wells is to restore the well, open pores, increase production, increase permeability, clean and wash the well, clean the pipes, free the drill pipes and generally reduce the skin coefficient. In well acidification operations, hydrochloric acid is generally used alone or mixed with hydrofluoric acid. In special conditions inside a well, other organic acids such as acetic acid or formic acid are also used alone or together with hydrochloric acid. In order to balance and change some properties of hydrochloric acid, special chemical additives are added to it, one of these additives is an anti-corrosion solution that prevents the well drilling equipment from being corroded by acids and other corrosive agents. Abrizan Industrial Research Company produces special anti-corrosion solutions for acidification of oil wells with different bases.

Anti-corrosion solutions for sour gas environments (containing high H2S and CO2):

Sour oil wells contain more sulfur than sweet wells and create a more corrosive environment. In wells with high H2S, severe corrosion attacks on coatings and equipment may occur in the upper part of the well, which is filled with gas, because water vapor condenses in this area and absorbs H2S and CO2. In sour environments (the presence of high CO2 and H2S), alloys such as plain carbon steels corrode at a high rate, and this type of corrosion occurs at a higher rate, especially in multiphase flows. The use of corrosion inhibitors is the most logical and economical solution to combat corrosion in these environments with high sour gas corrosion. Abrizan Industrial Research Company produces a variety of anti-corrosion solutions specifically for sour (high H2S) and sweet (high CO2) gas environments with severe corrosion.
