Sedimentation removal of plate exchangers in Jam Petrochemical

Considering the problem of lack of heat exchange in the plate exchangers of Unit 903 Olefin at Jam Petrochemical, the technical and engineering team of Abrizan Company took specialized measures to resolve this problem. After a detailed examination of the operating conditions, the necessary calculations to determine the appropriate chemical washing solutions and providing comprehensive instructions for washing the exchangers, the chemical washing operation began in December 2024.

In this operation, three converters including side (Sea Water) and side (Cooking Water) were washed using the advanced sediment removal package. The chemical washing process was carried out with high precision and in accordance with technical standards.

After the scale removal operation was completed, the exchangers were put back into operation and all necessary performance tests were performed. The results obtained showed that the expected efficiency of the exchangers was restored, and the technical managers of the large Jam Petrochemical Complex were fully satisfied with this operation.
