Comparison of mitreh solution with DM

Comparison of DM and Mitreh solution
To compare DM and Mitreh solution, it should be noted that three different materials should be used for scale removal, scale prevention, and corrosion prevention. In this regard, materials such as acids for scale removal, DM for scale removal, and in some cases, materials for water oxygen removal are also used. Of course, controlling the amount and method of use of each requires special expertise and considering operating conditions.
Industrial Mitreh solution
The industrial Mitreh solution MSA1148, specifically for medium and low pressure boilers, and MSA1149, specifically for high pressure boilers, is used alone for scale removal, scale prevention, and corrosion prevention. This solution dissolves the sediments formed in the body of the facility and does not allow new sediment to form. All of these operations are possible while the system is operating, and there is no need to remove the device from the circuit or stop the system. As a result, the entire water circulation path, including the pipes, is also scale removed and protected from new sediment and corrosion. Mitreh solution is used in all cooling and heating installations (all systems with circulating water).
Comparison table of Mitreh solution with DM solution
Function type | DM anti-fouling solution | Anti-deposition solution, anti-corrosion and industrial miter vector deposit | Description |
Sediment removal | No sediment removal | Strong sediment vector | The Mitreh sediment remover is very strong and has high performance in all installations with circulating water. |
Prevent sediment formation | Yes | Yes | Both prevent the formation of sediment, with the difference that DM is only used in certain cases, while the Mitreh solution can be used in all installations with circulating water. |
Prevent corrosion | No | Has a strong inhibitor | Mitreh solution has a very strong inhibitor and its corrosion is at 0.114 mpy, but the corrosion of DM material (despite the removal of oxygen from water by this material during use) is very high. |
100%performance | No | Yes | DM only settles sediments in water and is not capable of removing sediments stuck to surfaces. |
Preventing water and energy waste | No | Yes | The mitreh solution is injected into the circulating water and prevents energy loss after sedimentation. In the case of DM material, skimming must be done after the sediments settle, and a large amount of water is also removed from the circuit along with the sediments. |
Destructive impact on the environment | Yes | No | Mitreh solution is environmentally approved and has no harmful effects on the environment. DM and its additives are toxic substances (such as hydrazine) and produce harmful gases. |
